Love that you wrote an article on this! As an “Elder Millennial” I couldn’t agree more. Experiencing the wave of content creation and social media from start to saturation, I’ve definitely noticed a big swing towards private groups, group messaging, online gatherings, and many other virtual communities in the last few months. I believe this is why we will also start to see the rise of many smaller indie brands and companies do well as some of the larger ones struggle to create these communities who trust in the owner’s integrity and loyalty to the clients and consumers.
